No purchase necessary and prize draws are free to enter. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate. You may enter prize draws by either completing a survey or registering to be a member of the Ciao Surveys panel. Both methods of entering a prize draw are described below.
Prize Draws – all types
Individuals can participate in either survey or membership prize draws in accordance with the individual terms for those prize draws as set out below. Winners are selected in a random draw that is conducted within 4-6 weeks of the official closing of the prize draw. Only winners will be notified. All prize draws are supervised by an independent adjudicator. All qualified entrants will have a chance to win one of the prizes specified for that prize draw. Odds of winning depend on the number of surveys submitted or membership applications completed and accepted in the entry period for the relevant prize draw. Winners will be notified via email and must allow 6-8 weeks for their prize to be delivered or credited to them. Entrants will not be declared official winners until they have complied with all the terms contained in these rules and any other terms contained in the invitation to enter the particular prize draw.

Survey Draw
All entrants who participate in a survey (“the Survey”) will be entered into a random prize drawing for the prizes described in the invitation to participate in the Survey on the Ciao Surveys Web site. The number and value of prizes vary for each survey. To be eligible, each participant must successfully complete and submit the Survey. The Survey must be received before the stated “closing date” for the Survey to be eligible for that that prize draw and only one entry allowed per person or e-mail address per Survey. Individuals can participate in more than one survey but not enter more than once for the same survey. Sponsor will not accept multiple attempts to complete the Survey. If multiple online Survey completion attempts are received from the same e-mail address or person only the first entry received will qualify and all additional entries will be disregarded. Entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holding the screen name or e-mail address from which the entry is made.

Membership Draw
All individuals that complete the necessary registration forms and become a new qualified member of the Ciao Surveys Panel ("Panel") may be entered into a random prize draw for the prizes described in the invitation to become a member on the Ciao Surveys Web site. Members are only entered into the membership prize draw which is open at the time the entry is received. The number and value of prizes may vary in connection with each separate membership draw. To be eligible, you must successfully complete all phases of the registration process. Only one entry allowed per person or e-mail address. Prize draws for new members are held on a periodic basis as described in the invitation to become a member through the Ciao Surveys Web site. To be eligible for a particular membership prize draw, you must become a new member of the Panel during the entry period for that prize draw. Sponsor will not accept multiple attempts to join the Panel and the terms and conditions of membership apply. If multiple attempts to join the Panel are received from the same e-mail address or person only the first attempt to join or entry received will qualify, all additional entries will be disregarded. Entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the screen name or e-mail address from which the entry is received.

Prizes
All prizes are payable in British pounds sterling or their equivalent. United Kingdom taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. No transfer or assignment of any prize is permitted, and the cash equivalent of any prize will not be substituted. Sponsor reserves the right to provide alternative prizes of equal or greater value.

General
Use of automated entry devices or programs is prohibited. Any attempts by an individual to access the site via a bot script or other brute-force attack will reset in the IP address becoming ineligible. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel online entries for the drawing without notice if it becomes infected with a virus or is otherwise technically corrupted or unfeasible. Sponsor not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions or failure or delayed, garbled or corrupted or data transmitted by participants via the Internet. Proof of emailing or posting will not be taken as proof of receipt and the Sponsor shall not be liable for any entry which is lost or not received. All entries, Panel membership information, and completed Survey data becomes the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
By completing the Survey, joining the Panel and/or entering any drawing, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these rules. The Sponsor reserves the right to refuse entry of, or to refuse to award the prize to, anyone in breach of these rules. The decision of the Sponsor is final, binding and conclusive on all matters and no correspondence will be entered into. Prize draws start and end as disclosed in the Survey or Panel membership invitation. The Sponsor reserves the right, acting reasonably and it accordance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice, to vary these Rules at any time. All prize draws offered by the Sponsor shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Eligibility
Unless otherwise specified in the Survey or Panel membership invitation, prize draws are open only to legal residents of the United Kingdom, 14 years of age or older. Void elsewhere and where prohibited. Employees and household family members of Ciao Surveys, Inc. its advertising, promotion and fulfilment agencies affiliates and operators of their websites are not eligible. Prizes won by minors may be awarded to their parents or legal guardians. Additional eligibility requirements may be disclosed in the Survey or Panel membership invitation.
At the discretion of the Sponsor, the winner may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and liability release. The affidavit must be returned within 15 days of receipt. If the affidavit is not returned within the time prior specified, the winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be randomly chosen. Only one prize per person per each prize draw. The Sponsor shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age or other relevant details of the winner.

Release of Liability
All entrants release Ciao Surveys, Inc., its clients and each of their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, employees and all others associated with the development and execution of this website and all prize draws from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from any prize draw conducted by and/or acceptance or use of the prizes, including liability for personal injury, death, damages, or loss, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Save where caused by the negligence of the Sponsor or its employees, the Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming or hyperlinks associated with or utilized in a Survey or Panel Membership application, or any prize draw or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of Survey submissions or Panel membership applications or draw. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alternation of, Survey responses or Panel membership applications or data. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading materials in any Survey or Panel membership application. Sponsor is not responsible for user cheating or fraud by any Survey participant or Panel applicant. The Sponsor shall not be liable for any interruption to any prize draw or processing of the Survey responses or Panel membership applications due to circumstances beyond its control. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel any prize draw at any stage, if deemed necessary in its reasonable opinion or if circumstances beyond its control occur.

Publicity
If you win, Ciao Surveys Inc. and its affiliates and agents may use your name, any biographical information provided to them by you, and/or your likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion without further compensation. You may be required to participate in reasonable publicity activity, such as but not limited to, publicity photographs and interviews. By accepting the prize, you agree to use of your data and/or likeness for this purpose.

By entering this contest, you agree that Ciao Surveys Inc. and its affiliates and agents may use the details you provide: (1) for the purposes of administering the contest; and (2) for their own administrative and record keeping purposes; and (3) to contact you (by phone, email or mail) with information on products and services which may be of interest to you; and (4) disclose your details to carefully selected third parties who may also contact you (by phone, email or mail) with products and services which they think may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive such information please contact the Sponsor at the address provided below. You further agree that Ciao Surveys Inc. and its affiliates and agents may from time to time transfer your details to recipients in countries outside the European Economic Area, including the USA, (which may offer lower standards of data protection) to be used for the above purposes. The privacy policy on the Ciao Surveys Web site will apply to use of your data.
